Asda is the latest UK supermarket to offer in-store financial services. A recent merger with the US trading-giant WAL*MART has strengthened their reputation and you can more or less guarantee that they'll be able to offer you one of the most competitive quotes. As a relative newcomer to the marketplace Asda aims to win business by offering a number of attractive incentives. The most enticing of these is a discount of 10% if you buy your policy online, but you can also expect: access to their 24-hour claims line, a three year repair guarantee and no-claims bonuses which can amount to as much as 70%.

Asda offers two levels of motor insurance cover: third party fire and theft cover (which can only be taken out on vehicles worth less than £5,000) and comprehensive cover. If you take out the latter your policy covers your vehicle in the event of vandalism or accidental damage.
