Asda, since 1999 part of the enormous Wal-Mart corporation, is one of several supermarket giants to turn its hand to car insurance recently. Among the provisions Asda offers if you do meet these and other criteria are a three-year workmanship guarantee for accident repairs, provision for legal expenses, and up to 70% no claims discounts. With comprehensive cover there is also the promise of a courtesy car and an accident recovery scheme which will take you home and your car to a garage if it’s left undriveable. Claims are dealt with entirely by phone.
