Breakdown insurance is often offered as an optional extra when purchasing motor insurance, buying it as part of a larger motor insurance package can be more cost effective. However, you may decide you want to purchase it separately for certain situations and vehicles as outlined above, either way it pays to get as much breakdown insurance cover as you can afford!
